Are caregivers employees or contractors?
All caregivers are W-2 employees, not contractors. This ensures accountability, consistent training, supervision, and compliance with Indiana HCBS and labor regulations.
Do you perform background checks, fingerprinting, and drug testing?
Yes. We conduct comprehensive background checks, fingerprinting, drug screening, reference verification, and work history checks before any caregiver is assigned to a client.
Are caregivers trained in CPR, First Aid, and infection control?
Yes. All Hoosier Care Giverscaregivers maintain CPR & First Aid certification, and receive mandatory infection control, HIPAA, safety, and abuse prevention training.

What happens if my parents are uncomfortable with the caregiver?

Do you have a 24-hour support number?
Yes. Hoosier Care Givers provides 24/7 on-call support for emergencies, schedule changes, and urgent concerns.
